The Frederick Douglass Honor Society Scholarship

The primary goal of the Frederick Douglass Honor Society, Inc. is to provide scholarship money for our scholarship awardees throughout their 4 years in college, mentor them, follow their progress, and connect them with alumni for moral support, internships and more. Part of the Society's education mission is to provide scholarships to assist with the education of future leaders in our community and beyond.

We strive to continue our annual hallmark event “Frederick Douglass Day” which is held in September. During the event we educate, reconcile, heal and grow our community with knowledge to be proud of and celebrate! We want our diverse community, especially our young people, to see that true heroes can be American patriots who put their country and its citizens first without concern for self-interest as we live in these challenging times.
